Vendomation Remote Monitoring

Most vending machines have (or can support) a DEX board which provides the data required for lane analysis.

Machines that also support automatic dial-in are perfectly placed for Vendomation Remote Monitoring.

With Vendomation Remote Monitoring, each vending machine dials into the database on a predetermined schedule (usually nightly), reporting:

  • vend details for each lane
  • coin & note movements
  • alerts like
    • refrigeration failure
    • power failure
    • motor failure
    • unauthorized entry

With this data, the Vendomation system knows the current state of each vending machine, so it can:

  • reschedule machine visits
  • determine restocking quantities (pre-kitting)
  • escalate alerts

The operator visits only those machines that need to be visited. After filling the machine, the operator presses a button so the vending machine will transmit to Vendomation that all lanes have been refilled – job done, on to the next one!

Operators of machines that cannot dial-in should consider the Vendomation Handheld Solution.
